Welcome to Going Green for Fun and Profit!  Going green is all the rage these days, and there are lots of reasons for going green, but the mission of this blog is to focus on my two favorite reasons: because it is cool, and because it can help you save money…and maybe even make money!

There is just an explosion of green technology going on right now, and it is really impossible to keep up with the bleeding edge of technology without paying close attention to what is going on in the green sector.  If drooling over the latest gadgets, or having them in your own sweaty little hands, is your thing, like it is mine, then this would be a great space to keep your eye on!

In these tough economic times, it is also undeniable that an important benefit of going green is that it can save you money.  I love to save money as much as the next guy, and I am very excited about the money that green technology can keep in my pocket because I’m not spending as much of it on energy.  I’m also fired up about opportunities for green investing that can give me a good return on my money, whether it is investing in green projects around the house or in green companies that are growing like crazy.  Finally, there are tons of green business opportunities right now, where you could either get a job or start something up yourself, and we’ll be taking a look at those in this blog as well.  There is just a crazy amount of information to cover in this space, and it grows every day, so I promise there’s no way we’ll ever run out of things to talk about in this blog!
